MY WORK

Over the course of the last four years I have immersed myself in the world of storytelling throughout the four classes that make up Millard West's Journalism program: Intro to Journalism, Advanced Journalism, Broadcast Journalism and Yearbook. Through my transformative journey I've written 40 articles and created 29 broadcasts, delivered four newspaper issues for the Catalyst newspaper, designed dozens of yearbook spreads for the Prowler yearbook, anchored for the MWHS Wildcat News, piloted the Nebraska High School Radio Project and photographed countless schools events. As I've pursued my passion, I've taken on leadership roles, guiding a team of more than 30 staff members and fostering a sense of community within the walls of our school. Additionally, in the pursuit of my journalistic endeavors, I've contributed to raising awareness and garnering acknowledgment for my fellow student journalists and our program as a whole. Take a look below to see the work that I've done as a high school journalist.
